Breaking Stuff Fencestay test – Over-tensioning a fence to test the end assemblies

This week I go back into the paddock to test the Fencestay end assemblies for strength. I deliberately over tension 2.65mm HT wire and get well over one and a half tons of tension onto the assembles, then measure the movement. I get some surprising results. Please note that over tensioning a fence like this is not recommended and will actually weaken your fence, not somehow “Make it better”. Subscribe for a new video each week!
