What if a simple cover crop could cut soil temperatures by over 40°C, reduce disease pressure, and save you money?
That’s exactly what’s happening in my vineyard this season.

In this short Farm Learning update, I show real temperature readings comparing bare ground, old grass, and a multi-species cover crop in my vineyard. The results are dramatic. Cooler soils, better water cycling, fewer disease issues, and biodiversity working for me instead of against me.

We also look at how legumes, brassicas, fungi, and insects are reducing my reliance on fertiliser and herbicides — without sacrificing grape yield. This is practical regenerative agriculture focused on profit, not just yield.
