Did you know that light can be engineered to be more photosynthetically active, less heat energy intense and used to modify plant behaviour? Enormous gains have been made in the past few decades in plant production though modification of climate, nutrition, water supply and temperasture of protected crops. Now the last piece of the puzzle, light, becomes an input that can be modified and manipulated for huge gains in yelid, while lowering energy inputs and decreasing pest activity.
